The American and Polish Alliance For English Learning
The American and Polish Alliance For English Learning program is a great opportunity to help children, as well as experience the beautiful culture and sights of Poland. The purpose of this program is to promote the use of the English language using the tools of reading, writing, comprehension, sentence building and vocabulary.
English Classes
The classes are fun and educational, encouraging the students to speak and use the English language. Teachers must be asked by the Selection Committee to participate in the program or new teachers are selected by existing teachers to participate in the program.
Travel to Poland
Board a flight to Poland for a new adventure in a beautiful country. The school and dormitory are located in Nowy Sacz, Poland. Currency in Poland is Zloty, which compares to our US dollar. The weather is also comparable to the Midwest without the humidity.
Discover Poland
On some days, the educators discover different areas around Nowy Sacz for an afternoon excursion to tour and enjoy the sights of the area. On the second Saturday of the teaching season, they tour a different town to enjoy more Polish culture.
Stay in Poland
The educators stay in the dormitory at the school where the program takes place. Rooms have a bed, wardrobe, desk and sink. All the rooms have been recently updated and are very comfortable. The restroom will be shared and is designated for the educators use only.
